Snow White Dessert Table.

It all started quite innocently, with a trip to the cinema to see

It was beautiful, funny and gave me a whole lot to think about!

My mind started to work overtime....... as it does ;-)  and I came up with a plan to devise a Snow White themed Dessert Table.

My first step was to make the cookies........

I choose to bake apples, representing the poisoned apple that the Wicked Witch gives to Snow White ....

and hearts, which the Wicked Witch asks the Woodcutter to procure.

Next, I made some Cake Pops in the face of Snow White.  This was my first ever attempt at making cake pops.  They turned out pretty good considering, but I have a whole lot to learn still, for example ....... you can buy candied eyes ....... :-)

Finally I made the Push-Up Pops .

They were pretty easy to make.  I bought some Mini Raspberry Swiss Rolls, cut them into pieces and layered them with strawberries and vanilla cream cheese frosting.  They tasted pretty similar to a trifle.

I also made all of the decor to tie in with the theme of Snow White.

and then the Mirror Mirror sign.

I had great fun styling this table and I think it would be a great idea for a little girl's birthday party.  Don't you?
